Welcome to andean.kulture.org. This site aims to serve as a repository for some portion of the large body of gray literature that exists in the archaeology, ethnography, and history of the Andean region. It is organized on an individual basis. Authors manage their own web spaces, and can upload, modify or delete any files within their area. The site was conceived as a way for scholars to have a permanent web space from which they could present their conference papers, masters or dissertation research, datasets, reports to national archaeological institutes or to granting institutions, preprints, or any other material they might like to share. If you are a student of Andean culture, modern, historic, or prehistoric, and would like to use this service, please send me an email and I will give you a username and password.

At present there are few authors on this site. As the volume of material increases, I will probably add indexing and search capabilities. For the moment, however, users are listed here by name.

There are also archaeological project web pages on this server.

If you are an author, you can click here to manage your web space. I have also written a brief help file describing the site management interface that you may find useful.

Also, here is a list of personal web pages maintained by Andeanists that are not hosted on this site. These contain a great deal of interesting and relevant material.
